Lol Ghost... where do you live Surrey? Second of all the Canadian army can suck more than foreign armies because your stuck in the prairies with nothing to do and conducting training in -40 in the winter time. Sucks BALLS

OFP2 is out and according to many sites it gets an average score of 80 out of 100. But gamers like you say no. Apparently it suffers from "consolitis" like all PC games these days.

France kicked ass in the southern part. The people were very friendly and talkative, the weather was amazing and the screnry was incredible.
It's not like Canada where you have to arm yourself and travel in packs so you don't get attacked.
Ghost on Friday 05 June 2009 - 19:47:43
They starve and beat you plus they took away all my kit and refused to give me new stuff then told me if I didn't shave I can't eat.
I tried to reapply with the Canadian Forces the day after I got back and they told me they would never hire me because they didn't like the look of my face.
I also got jumped by 6 guys the same night I got back to Canada so its been one hell of a week.

Ghost - fill us in on the details.
Ghost on Tuesday 02 June 2009 - 22:21:30
Don't go the the FFL. Ever.
Ghost on Friday 15 May 2009 - 01:18:01
What's funny is that a large portion of the crowd is children and the cops claim they couldn't over power them LOL.
If they teamed up with the gay pride parade they would be unstoppable in Canada.
Akira_AU on Thursday 14 May 2009 - 14:13:17
zzzz...wake me up when the bombs start dropping
Ghost on Tuesday 12 May 2009 - 03:09:36
LOL tamil tigers take over a section of Toronto with zero resistance.
I guess the military only gets involved when terrorists try to take over Quebec.
Ghost on Tuesday 31 March 2009 - 18:30:47
Yeah I'm still going but I had to book a round trip flight with a different airline just to be able to enter France.
Akira_AU on Tuesday 31 March 2009 - 15:29:16
Ghost, u still going or not?
Ghost on Monday 30 March 2009 - 17:10:01
Step 1.
Call the French consulate before you book a non refundable 1 way flight.
Ghost on Sunday 29 March 2009 - 02:26:00
I'm leaving in a few weeks so fire away.
P@LaD!n on Saturday 28 March 2009 - 08:07:04
Btw, in regards to citizenship and a wad of Euros after your contract is up, it's not likely to be both at the same time. If you decide to go for citizenship, you are then taxed on your earnings for the 5 year period of your contract...thus a good percentage of that wad is going to go back to the gov't.
P@LaD!n on Saturday 28 March 2009 - 08:04:09
If you're really planning on joining the FFL, please msg me. I am a former legionaire and can tell you about my experiences and what you have to look forward (or not forward) to.
Ghost on Tuesday 03 March 2009 - 15:54:30
Its probably for the best or else you might wake up with a hang over in one of the FFL training facilities and telling the wife you won't be coming home for the next 5 years LOL.
Akira on Sunday 01 March 2009 - 23:26:37
belgium at times feels like an annex on france anyway, so i think you'll be right wearing the FFL uni there. Too bad I'm heading back to Oz in 3 weeks, otherwise I'll buy u a beer in paris dude!
Ghost on Thursday 26 February 2009 - 23:22:05
I won't be allowed to leave France for a few years. Eventually they will let me out of France and let me have things like my old name a bank account and maybe even a computer.
With a big wad of euros, being fluent in french and an army uniform I'll probably be banned from ever stepping foot in Belgium ever again LOL.
Akira on Thursday 26 February 2009 - 18:41:57
Earning euros will be nice. Drop by Belgium when in France. There's a load of seminaked ladies dancing behind windows on my street...lol
Ghost on Wednesday 25 February 2009 - 21:50:48
Well the CF failed miserably when they tried to spill my blood so bring it on Djibouti.
I've been with university chicks and strippers and I prefer strippers so that won't be an issue.
From my perspective the training will be a challenge, I make more money with 2x the amount of leave, I will be deployed more often and I will be stationed in southern France instead of butt fuck nowhere waiting for a negligent discharge to the face from my own troops.
Akira on Wednesday 25 February 2009 - 09:56:58
yes they do offer french citizenship...only prob is that you got to be a frenchie! At least the chicks are hot over there, but unfortunately they got fruit cakes where their brains should be.
Here's a tip - go and get shot in combat. You qualify straight away for citizenship, so called 'french by spliled blood' ;)
Ghost on Tuesday 24 February 2009 - 23:20:29
I also went from serving under the Canadian flag to spitting on it.
Lots of information has surfaced since then and its Canada that is screwed up not just Quebec.
The FFL has a code of honour and they offer French citizenship also I was forced out of the CF I never quit.
But yeah I didn't see this one coming either :p
Akira on Tuesday 24 February 2009 - 21:32:29
Joining the FFL? WTF?? This is what you said last year after quitting the CA -"Well that's what happens when you put the french incharge of a military they turn it into a pussyfest."
LOL
Ghost on Monday 23 February 2009 - 23:20:22
I'm going over there to sign up with the French Foreign Legion so I'm not sure if I'll even need a hotel for more than a night.
Akira on Monday 23 February 2009 - 18:56:23
go in june if possible, jul and aug in paris are filled with tourists. everything from hotels to food becomes more expensive.
Ghost on Monday 23 February 2009 - 18:40:18
I'm looking at heading there in the summer.
Akira on Monday 23 February 2009 - 18:19:37

Ghost on Monday 23 February 2009 - 03:23:48
